Absolutely rubbish they must have a new chef again worst meal I've ever had . I would not recommend this place . The problem with this restaurant is when they get a good chef they have no idea how to keep them . I've never eaten at a restaurant because of the restaurant it's always been because of the food and its all about the chef not the management. This Restaurant has no idea about good food . Save your money. The only people happy to eat at this restaurant are people who have no idea what good food should taste like . 0 out of 10 for food unbelievable awful.
First time ordering and I'll be ordering again. I had a tikka masala, it was pure heaven, tastes as how exactly it's meant to taste, a little spice, but not too spicy, the ones I've had before at other places were so mild, but not this one - just right! My daughter had the biryani and she said it's the best she has ever had, the rest of the family even agreed it was so so good. We have had countless different Indian takeaways and I must say, this place is far far the best I've had. Definitely coming back for more next time we all fancy an Indian takeaway!
Very friendly staff who were also very helpful with suggestions of what to order. Easy to find. Highly recommended Parking: The parking is just outside the restaurant
We have eaten at the Chineham Indian many times and always enjoy the cuisine and friendly service. Recommend it highly. Parking: Free parking right outside the restaurant in a car park.
Updated Jan 2023: Visited again with some friends, was slightly concerned about the recent negative reviews but safe to say it was still excellent food and we all enjoyed our meals. Price wise, still reasonable compared to a few others but worth it none the less. Previous 2019: From the outside, the place looks a bit worn down...to put it nicely...BUT it's made up for by the great food and friendly staff! First time here and was more than happy with the quality of the food, the portion size and cost. I'd be happy to return again!
Celebrated my son's 23rd birthday here last night. First class meal and the service was second to none. I don't normally leave reviews but these guys really deserve a positive shout. This has been my go to Indian restaurant since the 1980's and I don't intend changing any time soon!
Nice food in the restaurant but was charged £8.50 for 2 glasses of warm bottled lemonade!!! also 2 poppadoms came to £3.60! Need to sort their prices out. Will go elsewhere next time as drinks prices are far too much!
We have not used chineham indian cuisine for years but decided to give it a go last night for a takeaway, it was delicious, ordered very spicy dishes and they did not disappoint!!! Very rich flavorsome curries and free delivery to sherfield park
Tried this place purely for somewhere different. The staff were polite and the food was OK. It would have been nice to see some Paneer dishes offered as main courses, rather than just vegetables. I personally would not like to be in this restaurant when it is full, as it is not that big for the amount of tables and chairs that they have. Possibly could do with a bit of modernisation. But, as I said, it was OK and plenty of parking.
Dropped in for a cheeky curry, chicken pathia L and a chicken Dhansak R. Both good portions and we'll prepared. The pathia was red hot, in a good way. Whilst the Dhansak was so so. I did have a keema naan aswell which was spot on. Verdict: Recommended
