Was recommended to try China Garden as our local takeaways in Tiptree are shocking and we are new to the area and craving a proper Chinese takeaway. Went and collected and even other customers in the shop were saying how good China Garden is, so I had high expectations! Seems easier and makes sense to order and collect, than wait for a delivery in peak times! Food was lovely and fresh, not oily or cardboard dry, it was just right. You could see how busy the chefs were in the back and all the lovely smells as they were cooking! Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced, was worth the drive to collect! Lots of flavour and I couldn't find a single thing to fault, will definitely be returning and I can now see why they are always so busy and popular! The young lad covering the phone and front desk is also a credit to them, very polite and took how busy a Friday evening was in his stride!

Ordered house special chow mein and it was worse than a child's portion, with the smallest amount of meat. Couldn't believe it when dishing up. We've used you for years but will now be going elsewhere. We had to improvise with other food to make the meal fit for an adult. Really disappointed.
Amazing food. Friday night treat for family and we loved it, from Hatfield Peverel but definitely our go to place for Chinese now. Would highly recommend. Many thanks see you soon.Food: 5/5
This is the best Chinese takeaway I've ever used and have been coming here for some time. I know you get used to your regular takeaway and don't try others, but I have and this is my favourite. It sometimes, as some reviews have said, takes time to get through, this shows how popular they are, and for good reason, they're the best. So order in good time and enjoy, just gonna place an order now.
First time ordering today I've got to say it is one of the best Chinese takeaways I have had in a long time. The food was so lovely cooked to perfection. Definitely be going here again. Delivery was fast too and very hot. I live about 9 miles from the Chinese. Spent nearly £40 but Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommended.
