Don't let the look of the place put you off...... Respectfully, the place needs a bit of an update but other than that it's all good. Friendly welcome by the waitress, food came promptly, was hot and very tasty! If your looking for a good Chinese meal with no frills then China City is recommended.
Arrived towards the end of the evening for indoor dining, waiter at first seem disappointed we were there as he seemed hopeful of closing early. He warmed up though to the task of serving customers, starters and main ordered, food arrived hot and tasty, would happily visit again
Just had THE BEST salt and pepper box EVER...wow the box was bursting out of the seams with yummy food...I'm a little bit fussy when it comes to food but every single delicious bite was spot on. Delivery was super quick. It's the weekend before Christmas and the kids wanted fried chicken from a different takeaway it took nearly 2 hours to come. China city delivered my food in 15 minutes...blown away. Regular customer and will stay a regular customer. Thankyou and merry Christmas x
Ordered a meal to share with my daughter, the meal was OK other than the fried rice which had a horrendous smell of cigarettes also the rice had an ashy taste and was hard. Rang to complain which was dealt with well and offered fresh rice but was put off from our experience. A shame as never had a problem before.Food: 1/5
Edit 16/10/22 - £20 for a salt and pepper box including curry sauce and delivery box of dried out, tasteless, overpriced food. Never had a problem before but this is disgusting. The ribs are not the same do not taste the same. Don't know if chef has changed. All of the food tastes like it has been sat on the heat to keep it warm. Dried out, hard, chewy. Just awful. Will be a very long time until I order again if ever. Never had a problem before but this is substandard and quite frankly disgusting that you can serve customers this.
Fantastic meal delivered. Was expecting it take a while due to weather conditions but was with us in half an hour. Great value for money and very tasty. Thankyou
I will never order from here ever again... it used to be so good. Customer service is very poor. I ordered at 7pm and it arrived at 8.35pm. No warning of it being such a long delivery time. I rang up to check 3 times how long it would be and I was informed the delivery driver had set off at 7.40pm with my order in the car. He was first travelling to Bempton and Flamborough and then back to me in bridlington!!! So that's the reason I was still waiting!! So the salt and pepper box was a soggy wet mess when it arrived and cold. Very poor service and very over priced for the quality you get. Very Very disappointed
Went this evening for a meal, this was our second visit. The food was again very good. However the service is very amateurish. And very off putting.
Warm welcome, excellent service, Daniel our waiter was amazing and very helpfull. Food 5 would definately recommend. Staff drove us back to our hotel as no taxi available. What a service
Six of us had a banquet. Had a really enjoyable evening. Food was excellent, no complaints at all. Service was good, waiters really helpful couldn't do enough for us.
