This was a superb cafe for lunch, with flowers accompanied by pottery outside! This is joined by flowing water and the counter is neatly presented, outdoor seating is comfortable and spacious. I had tasty Salmon Toast that was fresh, cappuccino was a solid side!

Myself & daughter have done multiple classes & painting sessions at China Blue and highly recommend!  It’s lovely and relaxing to make & paint. We are always excited when we get the email to say it’s ready to collect! Great to be able to order drinks and snacks to the table also.nThe only slight negative is that we feel the making sessions should be longer than one hour, the end of the session is when we would have loved to stay a little longer to finish our designs & details but unfortunately ran out of time so an hour and half would be perfect, even if we could have moved to another table to finish alone without the tutor.nWe do love coming to China blue & look forward to more events in the future! Thank you!

I recently took part in a throw & dine experience. It was absolutely fab. The team were so attentive, we were given the option to throw or dine first. We had so much fun throwing pottery and the mentor we had was so encouraging this was followed by a really delicious sharing charcuterie board and a few sweet treats. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone. Thank you so much x

Me and my partner had a 2 hour coloured clay lesson with Stuart. It was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish and would highly recommend.nnStuart was very knowledgeable, was a great teacher and was very attentive. He definitely put us both at ease immediately and was very patient with us.nnThe coloured clay was a great option for us as we don't live locally so we didn't need to come back to paint the pieces. We also loved the effect the coloured clay gave which was a massive bonus.  After showing us some techniques we were given the go ahead to experiment with plain white clay so we could get a feel for things. After a few practice runs we then moved onto our coloured clay. We both enjoyed making bowls the most and use bowls a lot at home so naturally gravitated towards them.nnAlthough on the website you can only book 1 hour slots at a time, we found the 2 hours to be the perfect amount of time to learn the techniques and then do some pieces.
