Very authentic Indian food. One of our favorite places in derry. One thing to mention - take your cash with you, they don't split the bill . But food is very nice. Samosas are really awesome..Food: 5/5
Our favourite Indian restaurant closed a while ago and we thought we we try Chillis. This is now our favourite Indian restaurant. The food is tasty the staff friendly and the service is great. I ate my food too quickly to get a photo. We recently visited Chillies again and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was great. Highly recommended for tasty Indian food.
The naan was edible. The chicken korma was the most British tasteless form of not quite food feel like calling it food would be to kind. Worst Indian food I have even tried to eat. ZERO spice. Korma tasted like nothing but a can of coconut milk. Salt anyone? Curry maybe? I have had Indian food made by Mexican cooks that was more Indian than what this was trying to be. Avoid at all cost. Eat at your own peril. Zero stars.
The korma was kor-meh. I don’t know how there are so many 5-Star reviews. Brits must just love bland food. Indian food needs flavor. This had none at all. It tasted sickly-sweet and no amount of salt improved it. The worst Indian food from my home city in America would be preferable to this. Unless you love it bland, go elsewhere.
Good Indian Restaurant at Pardes... Foot Test is nice, bit costly but ok if you earning in pounds. Vegetarian options: Dal-Rice, Paneer sabji, Samosa and Masala Papad Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Dietary restrictions: Accepted
Nothing but garbage. mutton biriyaani was the worst I've ever tasted. chicken curry was nothing but Onion tomoatto sause. Mutton pieces were so hard and hard to eat. How on earth these people are running a business in the name of Indian restaurant I don't understand. Biriyaani should have spices like ginger, garlic, corriander, mint, green chillie, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, cumin, nutmeg, star anise, bay leaves etc....I could not smell nothing, not a sinlge spice. I wish I can teach these so called restaurants how to cook reall Indian food. These people are frauds who make money in the name of food. Its not about money but about quality. Shame on the people who are running this third class business. Never cheat people when it come to food. I wish they read this review. If this same food would have been served in India...their business would have been shut in 24 hours. People who know what is Indian biriyaani, chicken curry will never order food from this third class Restaurant.
This restaurant claims they serve halal food but like most others in Derry those claim this refuse to show any evidence by way of packaging with the hallal sign . They expect if face value to trust them blindly. They cannot even explain to show how they know it's hallal and have to trust them but cannot answer then how they know it's hallal. All trust by word of mouth. If it is hallal then the business would have no issues or qualms to show and gladly. One was not born yesterday and ones right for peace of mind and assurance. So my Muslim friend new to Derry had to leave. This city send not very Muslim friendly for him sadly. Restaurant loss.
Tasteless..not authentic in anyway, zero spices, chicken was like rubber, both curries almost inedible, won't be back, absolute waste of money
Propper indian food, all meals are maid from scrach so you will wait but its worth it, chef is indian and is also the owner,
I've been to Chilli's a number of times and the food is always superb Parking: There are a few options for parking easily assessible within minimal walking distance Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is all on the flat with plenty of space between tables
