No end of trouble & hard to work with, only open minimal hours & wait times to call consume all of work breaks. Online system is good for major changes but simple questions or using the live chat is poor. They like to cut the conversation short whenever possible. Paying maintenance was easier without Child maintenance being involved.
Shocking service just want money not there for the benefit off the children
system set up to help with child maintenance, but why do they treat every father as a person who doesn't want to pay. if they only became human and understanding, the system doesn't allow for the carers of the children wages or future partners wages into consideration. as for nearly 200 per month as half to look after a child, the other half from the mother, when i, who is working get less than that for my food etc doesn't seem right.they never give straight answers either bit like mps they skirt around the thing you want to know
What a JOKE. The "child support agency" is NOT fit for purpose! That's not an opinion, that's a fact! My child's mother has just been in trouble for defrauding the CSA and they have lied to me saying my child's mother wasn't willing to accept money directly...... So they have been ADDING 20% on top for themselves this whole time! They have completely crippled me financially, leaving me and my children with with not even the amount THEY SAY I/WE NEED to live on!! Whether I work 70 hours or 0 hours I end up with the same, NOTHING! Meanwhile, my baby mum gets lots of money already fraud type and my money when if she says that shes not bothered about the debt, IT GETS QUASHED.....!!! Just like that?! But they've closed the case now that's good of them so I just have to worry about the liability order I have already had placed on me after she's been done for defrauding them I could GO TO JAIL now without having to go back to court, they can come in my home and take my stuff. I am the one being treated like a criminal, when IN FACT, YOU are both the criminals. I'm happy to pay for my children, they are my world. Just there's not much left of me for them to benefit from. I'll leave that with you, it gets a lot lot worse though. Be good, love one and other. MTR x
The CSA didn't just take my money they took away my travel cost to see my son 120 miles away . Ex wife's or ex partners namely women and this organisation should recognise that there are fathers out there that just want to see their children regardless of money . Yes take some money but not all what your percentage tells you too ? I was left after deductions Just £10 A month to travel 120 miles at weekends . Needless to say I'm now not being a dad to a 10 year old boy because I can't get to him . Every boy needs a father and love .. But these people see £ signs not a genuine father that misses his son . They took my heart and smile away . There broke me and didn't even help . Just took it away and had the law on their side . We live in a sad world where money is more important than a fathers love .
CSA was good at first, but then it became a nightmare. You have to call them over and over again, for them to work on your case. If the case is a bit more complicated they absolutely do not care. I told them 3 times where the ex partner works, they still sent me a letter asking me to provide his work info. It's bleeping ridiculous. I have been waiting for them to work out the maintenance amount since November 2017 and every time I call, they tell me it'll take a week and someone will contact me. They hardly ever do. The worst part is that they aim to reduce poverty, but with them moving their butts slower than the snails I can't see that happening.
Whole reasons why people go to the service is because there been a breakdown of communication and issues regarding the fathers not paying in the first place . Now a father can get away without paying and pay when they feel like doing so and nothing done anyways . My case has now been closed and the father is not contributing to his own daughter . Thanks for nothing . A system set up that just don't work . The old system prevented this from happening . Since this new system been put in place I wonder how many parent are actually receiving support barely any I can imagine .
Got a letter saying I owe money for I child I don't know about I've tried calling them to find out who the mother is and I was on the phone for for over 5 hours and I still haven't spoken to them. When I'm 1 in the queue the phone says call ended. So basically they are trying to claim money of me with no proof the child is mine.

My husband has been almost driven to do something irreversible by these people and I want justice... he has we have paid for his child from Day One, and now the CSA, who are still taking money from his pay at source, say they don't exist. The CMA who say they are not the same agency, are now demanding to take an extra £50 per month, but can't explain why the CSA are still taking money from us... neither one seems to know what the hell the other is doing. My hubby is a good man and we would never see his daughter go without. But this is madness... anyone else had this with these vampire blood suckers? He is considering giving up his job... I am at my wits end
