Chicken Lane is good for the value, I placed an order on there own website and was paying by cash on delivery. when I processed the order I noticed there was a service fee on the bill. why the heck do you want a service fee for doing your job? I could understand if it was using uber or just eat or paying by credit card but cash and direct ordering on your site and you have a service fee, nope I phoned up cancled and wont be coming back, hope that 40p was worth the customer loss.
waited nearly an hour for food to arrive and had already rang up asking where abouts the food was. then when food arrived only some of the order was delivered and said that they would get the next garlic bread free? If this is what the service is like then i don’t want to order from here again
This used to be a really good place to get food but now it's just bad upto 2hours for delivery. The chicken is cold. The boxes the chicken came in are dripping and I mean dripping with fat. The chips where cold and stale. The picture proves the very low quality of food this place serves.
Good service nice and yummy.The food was amazing, it was perfectly cooked and arrived at the perfect temperature. The chicken burgers tasted impeccable and the pizza was delicious. The milkshakes arrived nice and cold and were perfect too. The chips were cooked nicely and sauces were yummy. Overall the food was fantastic and was worth the money that we paid for it. Couldn’t have asked for better service.
Great tasting good made fresh at low prices. The best takeaway in town and the only place that does red salt. Friendly helpful staff who explain what things are when ordering. Gets 5 stars from me!
Currently my take away of choice. I tend to get the American burger meals as I really enjoy them. The chicken is also excellent. When phoning for collection the wait time is very short.
Worst experience ever. Food took over 2 hours to come. Then when food did eventually come it was the wrong order completely. then we had to wait even longer for our actual food to come. Absolute joke if you ask me. Rubbish service and rubbish food.
I used to order here all the time, recently service is diabolical! Over 2 hours late! Food missing! Food cold! Chips barely half full! Food thrown in the tub! opened and it's a state not even eatable! Paid cash rang up for the driver to come back with my money. I will never be using their service again! If you cant manage the amount of orders and send them out on time and correctly then start declining peoples orders otherwise your going to keep losing loyal customers!
Food and delivery service used to be good. Order has often been delivered as an afterthought 30+ minutes after closing multiple times now. Today they decided to not only deliver extremely late, they also replaced the fillet in their sizzler fillet burger with two of their bargain bin low quality dark brown clearly supermarket grade and oven cooked breaded "chicken strips." The only spicy thing on the burger was the out of date mayonnaise they drowned it in. Delivery driver didn't seem to know if we'd paid or how much it was. Probably because he was dropping it off on his way home. Not the first time they've done the things mentioned above. One time they told Foodhub they'd completed all orders for the day when I'd pre-ordered food to be delivered at 22:10 a good 3 hours earlier, they just closed without making it. Haven't used Foodhub since they accepted their reply as fact then decided that was the end of the issue. That's another story for another terrible review. Previously with another late order I paid for a calzone and they just didn't bother making it as a calzone, the pizza they delivered fell apart because of the toppings being under the cheese, the whole reason I tried to get it as a calzone. There's a lot of good food places in Leigh and I have previously been willing to give places a chance when things occasionally go wrong, this is now multiple back-to-back offences. There's a reason most of them have low food safety ratings though, that is the 'good enough' mentality these places share. Remember your customer base is tied to the area you're operating in and isn't very forgetful when you treat them badly. This review isn't just on the internet, every local I know is hearing about this stuff so they don't have the same experiences. Order elsewhere if you want your food on time and to be better quality than the supermarket brand frozen chicken you've already got in your freezer
Ordered food, waited an hour and 20 minutes before ringing the restaurant to find out where our order was. They told us they couldn’t deliver to us as we were too far. No phone call or notification to let us know that our order had been cancelled. We ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and they delivered to our address. After telling them this they said they’re too busy to deliver to us tonight. Nearly 8:30pm now, and unable to order from anywhere else as it’s too late. Told us to get a refund on their website as “there is an option for refund” - there is no option. Disgraceful.
