Quiet town. Old and fashion.

Surprising amount of options for refreshments on both main platforms, plenty of bike storage for commuters and it's easy to reach the high street and cathedral if you're on a days sightseeing. My photos show the route to Parks Lakeside Holiday camp for the brave walkers who eschew the taxi fare or 700 bus that stops short of the actual destination. Follow the road to the right of the station, turn left by the canal and head towards Chichester Police station as your first landmark. Of course you can Google map it, I'm merely adding pictorials and entertainment on the way and a warning that if you're carrying luggage it will feel much longer than a half hour's breezy stroll.

Platform 2 has brambles hanging from the roof at its western end. This needs to be sorted!

Did not like it, terrible members of staff, I was not allowed on the platform because I had a child ticket
