Fantastic experience selling our Stoke Newington house with Chestertons in Islington after struggling to sell with a local agent. Scott was professional, knowledgeable and highly motivated, and we instantly knew we'd made the right choice. Lloyd did an amazing job finding us a committed buyer and achieving full asking price. The sale was seamless, and we couldn't be more grateful. We can highly recommend Chestertons and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
Chestertons were great selling our flat near Caledonian Road. They were direct and upfront about how to price it and the strategy for getting serious buyers in for viewings. Their team flooded the flat with people, leading to several serious offers, some in excess of asking price. When things became challenging during a long chain process, Roberto was incredibly supportive, working very hard to reassure people on both sides of the chain and keep things moving. They were direct, clear and did what they said they would do - would recommend.
Chestertons Lettings team have been managing a short-term let for me while I sell my flat. A huge thank you to Joanna W particularly for her help over the last couple of weeks, as well as Martina who also jumped in admirably. Joanna was really great at being responsive, going the extra mile, problem-solving and managing the tenants issues on a tight timeline.
Great experience working with Scott Abrahams and Kevin Green! Scott has a great understanding of the market and did a good job at guiding us on sale price and process, and Kevin was a great thought partner in navigating the buy and sale process and ensuring buyer and seller expectations and understanding of things were very aligned. Kevin in particular was outstanding! With that said, not all Chestertons agents are this good. Some of them were not good and one in particular almost derailed the sale of our property so be thoughtful of who you work with. Scott and Kevin I would 100% seek to work with again!
Chestertons Islington offers a great service for landlords. The team take a very personal approach. Over the years Julia Chajdiakova has been great support. She takes time to check the flat, making sure the flat is in good shape that smoke alarms and carbon monoxide are there and working. And she gives feedback and is there to advise. It is a caring approach that supports tenants and landlords. I appreciate her honesty. It combines an old fashioned warmth with excellent administration.
Just sold my aunt and uncle's property in Islington. Due to my aunt having Alzheimers and needing permission from the Court of Protection and both of them being in a care home it was far from straight forward. Roberto was my point of contact for a year and couldn't have been more helpful, professional and lovely throughout. I would recommend Chestertons, they are professional and focused. Good work.
I've just exchanged contracts on the sale of my house through Chestertons acting as sole agent. Although their fees aren't the lowest in the area, they are more than justified by their performance. Scott set an ambitious target for the listing and the achieved price was above asking price. I'm much better off financially than if I'd gone with one of the '1% er’ agents in the area. The time from listing to offer accepted was an impressive 13 days! Scott provided oversight throughout and Will did a great job finding a quality buyer, negotiating and proactively managing the whole process through to exchange of contracts. Chestertons set high expectations and over-delivered; highly recommended.

We appointed Chestertons after a personal recommendation from friends with whom they sold their property. We had already had a very negative experience with one of Islington's most famous Estate Agents they know who they are! and so terminated that contract and went to Scott and his team at Chestertons instead. It was a breath of fresh air with a totally managed service, excellent sales team and regular feedback and communication. It was the opposite approach to the previous agency and one which was successful at selling our house at asking- price. Guy found the perfect Buyer after many client viewings and their persistence and self-assurance maintained our confidence throughout the process which is stressful enough anyway. Not once did Scott even consider reducing the price of our house as it had been priced properly in the first place, whereas the previous lot simply wanted to keep dropping the valuation until someone offered! We are grateful to Scott, Guy and the other members of the team at Chestertons; they got the job done!
