Just tried to join the queue to post parcels abroad. Only 2 staff on duty on a Saturday afternoon with one, elderly confused lady needing to speak to an operative for over 10 minutes. Clearly, insufficient staff for the demand, queue with over 20 frustrated customers and both self service kiosks out of use. Really poor service, gave up waiting, managed to get a lift to use the Wingerworth Post Office. It’s time a proper review of this town centre post office was conducted because it simply does not meet demand.

Stood in queue around 50 minutes, 2 staff on hand doing nothing apart from counting money while queue was a mile long, not acknowledging the fact customers needed serving. Also both self service kiosks were both closed. Only 1 staff member serving while other 2 doing nothing. Beyond a joke. Not coming here again anytime soon. Could have walked and posted my own post quicker.

Always long cues and have gone to get DVLA forms such as the basic D1 driving licence form only to be told after a 20 minute queue that I would have to go to a proper post office as they don't have forms such as that !!! So the major post office in Chesterfield is now not a post office. If anyone wants DVLA forms, I found Staveley and Bolsover brilliant without the 20 minute wait.

Got to the post office when they opened and was stood 20minutes waiting to be seen and still didn't get seen I had to run to work as it made me late! Not happy why say you open at half 8 is your not going to serve people till gone 9!
