We had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Nathan today. We have been in previously but still needed to sure up things about the sofa. Nathan was friendly off the bat, and was so knowledgeable. He was also very thorough when going through our orderand so there is no lack of confidence from me. This was probably the most enjoyable large purchase I have ever made, and its all thanks to Nathan. He is a credit to Sofology. I would, and I will tell friends and family to check this place out. We have left very very happy
Outstanding service across the board!! The staff were so friendly, especially Nathan who sorted out our sofa, exactly how we wanted it, made us feel at home, without pressuring us to make a purchase that was right for the company and not ourselves. He recognised us from a previous visit and got us over the line 2nd time around. The whole store feels relaxed, all staff members are incredibly friendly and I'd recommend Sofology Chester to anyone. Thank you guys for making our first sofa journey such a comfy ride! Pun intended
We would like to say a massive thank you to the team at Sofology, Chester. In particular Paul and Peter. My partner and I came in a few weeks back browsing sofas and Paul was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We came back today and made a purchase with Peter, who again was faultless. During both of our visits we never felt pressured into buying a sofa, nor we were constantly pestered by the staff - unlike other companies! We would definitely recommend sofology to anyone, their products and staff are 10/10

John was absolutely brilliant along with his colleague Paul. John sat with us for a while and was so helpful, buying a sofa is a big deal and it was so easy with their help. They are a team in Chester, and that speaks volumes. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Great service from both Nathan and Nicola. Nathan didn’t follow us round but was there to give us the info we needed, when we wanted it. Nathan and Nicola had obviously discussed our needs as Nicola knew what we wanted when we went in on a later date. She guided us through the purchase process providing all relevant information.
Would not recommend ordering a sofa from sofology. A great in store experience let down by a terrible delivery service and customer services team. Cannot fault the initial service from in store, John was more than helpful. He wasn’t pushy and we were really excited. Fast forward 12 weeks and the sofa was ready to organise delivery. We scheduled our delivery for that Sunday and were advised a time slot would be allocated the day before. Sunday came, no time slot. Called twice for an update and was assured on both occasion’s the sofa was out for delivery and to stay in but there was a system error which was the reason to no tracking. If we miss the slot and go out there would be charges implicated and it was coming. 5 minutes before the end of their delivery slots get a call from the driver to say they’ve got a system error and that they wasn’t able to make delivery and would call back tomorrow. At this stage, my previous sofa already disposed of and now no indication of when I would receive my new one. Sofology called the following morning to say they would deliver it today Monday. We asked for it to be after 5pm due to being in work as expected it the day before and couldn’t get it off - they said they would call back as they can’t guarantee time slots. Heard nothing. After chasing on their customer service line minimum 30 minute hold each time I was advised it stated we had refused delivery for today, no it couldn’t be delivered today after 5pm and the soonest slot was Wednesday. She advised it wasn’t due to the system error it was due to running out of time. The lady was extremely rude shouting at me down the phone and stating the driving time laws. At this stage, I asked to speak to a manager of the customer services as I didn’t appreciate the way I was being spoken to. I was then advised it was 72 hours to escalate. I agreed the slot and asked for a call back off the manager. That afternoon sofology customer services called back to ask to organise delivery. My husband advised that we have already scheduled it in for Wednesday. A now different lady advised there was no delivery slot booked and in-fact due to the system error the computers wasn’t allowing for any time slot to be booked so it wouldn’t be Wednesday. We were advised we would need to wait until the system error was fixed before being able to organise a re-delivery and they had no indication of how long that would be. They advised that they could manually over ride it but the depot have refused to do so and we would need to just wait for it to be fixed. At this stage we had no idea when the sofa would arrive and no sofa at home. I called the store and spoke with a manager who was helpful and did chase it up with the customer services team for me but that is as far as he could do. He advised me there would be a journey follow up and when it was all delivered it would be escalated and compensation would be given. sofa got delivered on the Friday after numberous phone call complaints, being on hold. Turned out in the end the system error was manually overridden why this couldn’t be done earlier on in the week?. On arrival the sofa arrived damaged and the control unit for the recliner was severely scratched. I reported it straight away and booked in for a Saturday. The gentleman that came for repair was lovely and the sofa is now all repaired. Now all delivered and resolved I requested for the experience to be escalated. No sofa for 1 week, hours of chasing and phone calls, shouted at by customer services and failed delivery. Multiple emails later and nothing. I chased up the chasing up and still nothing.Feel like now I’ve received the sofa, taken delivery, paid and I’m not chasing this has all been forgotten about. The “compensation” is unheard of. The follow up from customer services manager is non existent. Paid £300 for a sofology warranty and if it’s to go through the customer services team to claim would advise it is not worth the paper it is written on. Nice sofa ruined by a terrible customer service experience.
