Amazing experience for the children at our school. There’s so many amazing resources and opportunities for our young people.
My daughter joined South Cheshire College after enrollment had already taken place as her original plan of attending 6th form was not going as planned. We felt extremely lost and unsure of her future when we first walked in. We went along to South Cheshire and immediately we were greeter by friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff, who immediately put us at ease. She enrolled immediately and we were fully supported throughout the whole process. She has thrived at South Cheshire College and has just enrolled on another course to continue her education. I cannot recommend South Cheshire College enough for their care and support provided. My daughter is thriving and is happier than ever.
Would rate it less if I could. Been here for two years now. The teachers don’t treat you like adults and will put the needs of other students that are on the spectrum above the rest of your class. You also cannot be late to any lesson, I had to attend surgery and multiple doctors appointments in the start of college and they said I will still be kicked out for poor attendance which is beyond ridiculous. In some classes there are no phones, no eating, no drinking and no talking at all. The college canteen food is discusting and one time made my friend throw up. The rules are strict but only to students that don’t have a mental disorder which is beyond rediculous and incase your still not sure if it’s that bad, students that do disgusting things don’t get disciplined in the slightest. Also if you decide to take matters into your your own hands and talk to them yourself you will be kicked out for harassment and bullying. I feel like a child at the age of 18 and I will not recommend this school to anyone.

Doing an apprenticeshipnI joined this college with hope — and with a clear need for thoughtful, flexible support that considered both my access needs and my mental health.nnI was open about burnout and overwhelm.nBut instead of emotional care, I was met with time-tracking, deadlines, and decisions made for me without meaningful conversation.nnEven after reaching breaking point, the focus remained on coursework hours — not on whether I felt safe or supported.nAs a disabled and neurodivergent person, masking, fatigue, and executive dysfunction are constant — but I wasn’t treated as someone struggling. I was treated as someone “falling behind.”nnIt didn’t feel like support. It felt like pressure with a nice label on it.nnThis may not be everyone’s experience, but it was mine.nAnd I think it’s important for disabled and neurodivergent students to know that inclusion on paper doesn’t always mean inclusion in practice.nnI truly hope the college reflects and improves.nBecause care should never come after collapse.nnThis review reflects my personal experience and is shared with the hope of improving future student support.
ive been to some pretty poor education,my highschool was sir william stanier for crying outloud,if you think there is bad then just dont come here.This college is only for people who KNOW what they want to do and for those minoritie who are straight A's.i have not met all the teachers but all the ones i have met have been huge A-holes and are happy to chat about other students in front of students.they force decision on those disabled,treat us like babies and dont help at all with our problems.when doing questionares there lear over you and question what you put wich is very very of putting.nThy kick pople out for the smallest problems and send threats to kick you out 24/7.nThere happy to dish out hate but when we banter its a hate crime and bullying.nAnother commentor has said they treat disabled peeople better and yes its true but we still treated like the bottom of the bottom like we have no idea how to live,llike were sub-par brainnless idiots.its disgusting and really rouls me up.to makee matters worse rather then taking the child out the class to deal with the problems they do it front of everyone!nthe teachers will chat about us like we dont understand them the TA's are moore then happy to lie and be horrible to you and post stuff on my comment but how dare i mention that.nThe teachers ive met have no idea what there doing,the food is awful,on some of the courses STS/ASPIRE ect YOU CANNOT leave thee building no matter what even if you are 18 and have done gces and now have 3hrs free a day.nTo make matters worse they have favourites and its not just us making it seem like it,its clear as day,a friend of mine gets exemptions 24/7 i do the same stuff and im told off half as much .nif your someone like me who might need alittle extra explaining be in for a treat for them never ever explain what half the areas of the college are for!!!! i have spoken to those in my year who have been here for not just this year but the last year and thy have said the same about last year.nITS VILE i know im not the best student but when some off the best students agree its sad
