This review is for the driving range at Cherwell. My brother had booked our time we had sixty golf balls to have a practice with. I am not much of a golfer but I like to try the different clubs. I like the No 9 iron as I can see where my ball lands. It is an excellent facility it was busy when we arrived and there seemed a good turn over of people wanting a practice.
Great place for golfers. Come on if you play come join us at cegc
had the pleasure of playing Cherwell Edge with my golf society yesterday and, whilst mu performance was very poor, i cant say the same about the course. Whilst it may not be the longest course, it is ; challenging, interesting, beautifully presented and maintained, fair and varied. The greens were in great condition. Big Thanks to Jason and his team
Haven't been for many years but sad to find it's driving range does not allow use of a driver! Also prepayment card minimum spend £5 but if you pay cash it's £3
I'm a member here, whereas it's quite a short course, it's a challenge to try and score well with a lot of longer par 3s.
Great course and driving range with very friendly staff.
Nice course, with some excellent holes. Not too busy most of the time, and with a well stocked bar and friendly staff. Can get muddy if it has rained for a few days
A very hot day but enjoyable. Each 9 holes are very different, which is no bad thing. The back 9 could do with some direction markers.
Held my Dad's wake here so can't rate the golf course. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble & the food was amazing. Good selection of drinx. Made a sad day a lot easier, has a nice patio with some outdoor seating. Also open to non members, so well worth a visit if in the Middleton Cheney area.
This is a very picturesque parkland course with some short but still challenging holes especially on the front 9. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming as well as the members. The greens were Smith and rolled well with the only critasism being that they were very difficult to stop a ball on no matter what loft of club, could do with more watering . Overall our society has a great day and I am sure we will return in the future.
