Delightful lunch for the four of us. Beautiful food, lovely. Great Harvesterbeer. Cloth napkins on tables. Old world atmosphere. Super attentive waiting staff. Only stopped for lunch. No idea of hotel provision. Good car park, plenty of space.
Quaint and quiet pub to treat yourself to a nice meal, but for a fair price. The atmosphere is that of a traditional pub, but with some quirky decorations. Food was plentiful, and we especially liked that the burgers came with chips and onion rings included. Excellent desserts too: we had a pannacotta with blueberry ice cream and a passion fruit Mississippi mud pie. The staff made sure we were served very quickly and was very friendly.
Friendly staff, great service and lovely breakfasts, both small see photo and full English. Menu looked good with lots of choice. Easy to park in the pub car park late morning.
I didnt stay there, but I had food and the service was impeccable!nnI greeted by a lovely lady unfortunately didn't get her name and Tommy went there on Thursday 11th April 2024 they were both very welcoming and charming. Cracking jokes and having a laugh, lovely nice and chilled out pub. You can tell that they love it there. A real nice vibe about the whole pub.nnThe food was very tasty and overall I'll be coming back as it has been the best customer service I have ever had.
A very disappointed local…nHaven’t been here for a while but thought we would give the food a try for sunday lunch as it was the only place not fully booked in our area, we soon found out why…..waited an hour for our starters… there was only 3 small tables eating including us and not a single drinker so don’t really understand why it took so long? My starter was cold, the squid was extremely chewy. Mains looked phenomenal, but to taste- bland as anything. The staff just seemed to give the impression of not having a clue what they were doing by over charging us almost £50!!! Really disappointed. We wont be back.
