Typical Hungry Horse pub, good menu choice as always, and unlike a lot of them everything we wanted was available. Staff were friendly, and the gentleman who brought the food out couldn't have been more helpful. Tables were clean and had plenty of cutlery available. Toilet facilities were nice and clean too.

Not enough staff. Major football on so packed. Ordered salad got chips but friend had salad and it was dead. Chips overdone. No coleslaw as none left apparently but no reduction on order price. Never going on football event ever. Keep to quiet times.

Not a bad pub, but the bar staff are clueless which really let's it down. The bar staff just walk around doing nothing rather than serving at the bar!

Friday night at 4.45 and there was one person serving behind the Bar and a,queue of about 10 people. Guy came out and said he would help to serve but meant food would be longer as he was the Chef. When I suggested getting more Bar staff he said don't worry there will be more staff in 15 minutes. Ordered food which took 30 minutes to come no cutlery supplied asked 3 times before any delivered by that time had eaten most of the Burger and chips to stop it going cold. Most tables had dirty plates and glasses on them for most of the hour we were there. Food was bland and service poor felt sorry for the young lad that served us who had come onto shift to that carnage. Not the first time that we have had poor service and food here but my Granddaughter wanted to go. Will not be going back in a hurry.

Most tables had reserved sign on them when myself and family were In today at 2:00pm we eventually found a table ordered food and waited a good 30 to 40mins before a member of bar staff moved us to another table as apparently no under 18's allowed in said area. If that was the case why weren't we informed while ordering food and stating table number! We left at around 4pm and no one came in and sat at any of the so called reserved tables! Bad planning and management. Seems to happen too often, is this a ploy to turn customers away who want food, maybe because they cant cater for having a full restaurant. What a joke today!
