Gothic castle built 1 yr after 1066 Battle of Hastings, longest metal arch bridge in world and oldest.....and the mystical Wye wending it's way through. Quite betwitching.
The lady working in the centre was excellent. Happy to help and knowledgeable - well worth asking for assistance about Monmouthshire. Shop had a nice collection of Welsh products and the tea wasn't too expensive.
Plenty of souvenirs and paintings for sale. The centre offers guidance on all the popular walks and tourist information required by visitors. Good coffee and tea is also served here.

I wanted to make a purchase but after waiting a few minutes for the sales person to get off the phone, I enquired if she wanted the sale to the response, "I'll only be a minute". A good minute later she was still talking, so we left the shop without making the purchase, to the woman saying again "I'll only be a minute". Very disappointed as this shop used to be wonderful. Sadly it seems to have gone downhill as less seems to be stocked these days.
Fantastic Tourist Information! Friendly staff and loads of information. Table to sit and read things and they have some nice items to purchase. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
Gateway to Wales. Lovely view of Chepstow Castle from here. Staff really helpful, best place for a coffee whilst planning your route.
The two women working here were moaning to each other the whole time I was there! They appeared annoyed when we interrupted them and did not give us any info but rather pointed to the leaflets available.
Very helpful Tourist Information Centre with decent souvenirs shop. Staff will die for to help You ; very friendly Ladies !
