It is one of the best South Indian food restaurants in Birmingham city center. Staff are friendly, however there were not sufficient number of staff compared to restaurant's busy business. Food is tasty and awesome. Weekend evening is busy, and it is better to reserve the seat before your arrival.
I had a great experience at Chennai Dosa, thanks to Charmie’s excellent service. She welcomed us with a warm smile and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious—especially the chicken dosa and mutton biryani, with the mutton being incredibly tender and the biryani full of flavor. The chicken noodles had an authentic street food vibe. While the chicken 65 and rasmalai were average, the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!
Chennai dosa offers very good service and the ambience is perfect for South Indian cuisine lovers. I went with my friends and we had chicken soup, paneer butter masala dosa, chicken koth porotta, butter naan and butter chicken. The food is delicious and the customer service is good.
Very long waiting time for food 45 mins after ordering but Food is good, decent portions, friendly staff.nRecommendations in food: Really liked the idli sambar, rava dosa and chai. Not sure why my rava dosa had so many solid black pepper corns ~20, may want to request staff to be mindful of so,, not to ruin the flavour. Gobi Manchurian was so so.
I love chennai dosa , superb service by Bala , praveen and ritish . This was an exceptional dining experience! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the attention to detail in each dish was remarkable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an unforgettable meal. I can’t wait to come back!”
