Had takeaway from he on Saturday I had shredded chilli beef which absolutely stunk couldn’t eat it and my husband chicken curry with chicken fried rice the rice had no chicken in it and the curry was disgusting very expensive for food we had to throw away
Always have great food here. The service is good, although I always have to wait even when I order ahead. We have been using this Chinese takeaway for some years now and have never had reason to complain about the food, we will be returning soon for our Chinese fix Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options here and the owner makes my wife a dish that is not on the menu, she has always done this for us, we are grateful.

I had a takeaway from Chen's in 88 frogmoore rd blackwater to 125 ryves AVE well lost for words.mr Chen is a legend had chicken in Pineapple..this man deserves a Mitchell star I had to mop up sauce with prawn crackers
Very disappointing tried this place because the Google review said 4.2 but if im honest it was truely the worst Chinese meal I've ever eaten and I could only eat half because I was really hungry. When a Chinese takeaway doesn't know how to do egg fried rice you have to question its credentials. The chicken balls were tough and chewy but the batter was soggy and raw in the middle, the vegetable curry had almost no flavour and the chow mein was bland with no seasoning, to top it off the egg fried rice looked like boiled sticky rice with beaten egg stirred through it. One word......bland
Food arrived in 30 minutes! It was delicious! No greasy food like you sometimes get. Large portions. First time ordering from Chen's. Will again.
Usually lovely food but tried something different tonight. However, Kung Po chicken and 9 seasons Prawns arrived with IDENTICAL sauces. Prawns deep fried and identical to Kung Po prawns ordered previously- not sure if a mistake had been made or supposedly different dishes are actually the same?
