Went to see a comedy gig here. First time being and was presently surprised.nnPlenty of seats all with really good views of the stage.nnTicket prices weren’t too bad, and when you factor in a trip to London including train, dinner, tickets etc was much cheaper.nnPlenty of near by parking for a fair price.nnChelmsford offers a variety of restaurants and pubs to go to before or after depending on what you are seeing.
Great venue, easy to park in Fairfield Road CP only £2.50 all night after 6pm, reasonably priced food & drink plus some amazing acts. I tend to go for the tribute bands who are always good value.
A wonderful cultural resource for the city which provides a wonderful and varied program of events throughout the year. Excellent seating and quality sound and vision facilities together with great bar and light snacks for sale. We are fortunate to have such a well run theatre for locals to attend. Membership is possible which gives discount on prices for shows and purchases within the theatre. Staff are also very helpful and courteous.
Went to the Antiques Road Trip show. Great show. Theatre was great. Staff really helpful and kind! Certainly somewhere I hope to return to. Photo of parking behind bus station might help others.
Saw the panto 'Snow White' December 2024. Best panto that I've seen! Talented cast- they were all good and worked amazingly hard! Good script. Very funny and great value for money. Lovely theatre.
