Trying to get a 71 bus from Goddard way to Chelmsford bus station. Women and children are standing here waiting for a bus in the freezing cold. A bus that does not seem to be appearing. How many more hours must people waste waiting for a service that does not function? Management in London need to take a good hard look at the services I'm Essex. They are unacceptably poor.
X10/X30. I was using this service to get to a flight from Stansted. As a precaution I asked both my arrival bus driver and a staff member with clipboard for what stand it would depart from. I was given a different stand by both employees. Both were wrong. As a result I missed an X10. Waiting as directed for the next X30 from stand 1, saw out of the corner of my eye the next X30 pulling in at stand 3. I had to run to catch that bus. Nearly missed my flight.nI would advise people to be very vigilant using this bus station. I agree totally with other contributors re filthy and cramped bus station. Busses also not punctual, filthy, noisy, uncomfortable, windows filthy. Illuminated timetable signs totally random and inaccurate. Have to say that staff are friendly and polite.
Nowhere to shelter if it’s cold or raining. No notice board to tell passengers which stand go to. Drivers very unhelpful just standing around smoking and laughing not interested in helping passengers. Overall a dreadful place which unfortunately I have to use

You're lucky to get a bus on time from this station, buses sit there empty with plenty of staff milling about not really doing anything. No notifications if a bus is cancelled and they always prioritise frequent bus lines over less frequent ones . So if one of the less frequent ones doesn't leave on time, you end up waiting for up to or more than an hour in most cases. It's an actual joke when it's quicker to walk 4 miles than to wait for the next bus that should have been there 20 minutes ago.
