Stayed here for five nights as part of a holiday to Cornwall. From the onset, the host was welcoming and accommodating, and showed all of us to our rooms and made sure we were okay. The rooms were average sized for a guesthouse and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and kept this way throughout the stay.nnWe opted to pay the slight extra for breakfast. The breakfast was average, and nothing special but definitely hit the spot, with a cooked option and continental option with unlimited tea, coffee and juice. Throughout breakfast, the hosts would be out and about to help and top up.nnThe location itself was around a two minute walk down to one of Falmouth's famous beach, and cannot be faulted on location. It is a short walk of around ten to fifteen minutes to the main high street. Parking itself at the venue is limited although the hosts try their best to mitigate this by assisting with parking.nnOverall, this was a pleasant stay with friendly hosts and a brilliant location.
Great location, great breakfast - parking can seen a little daunting to start as you're triple parking but managed well through the proprietors. Really close to Gylly beach and a short walk into the town centre. Beds are super comfy too!
Stayed here for 8 days in July. I understand the guesthouse was built aroun 1905 is the style of a Swiss chalet which can clearly be seen. It was later turned into appartments before becoming a guesthouse.nI think there are 8 rooms altogether, including an annex to the rear.nMy room was quite small, as it was a single room, but adequate. I'm not sure how big the double rooms were. At the front was a balcony and I guess this would have been the best room in the house.nI had a chest of drawers a chair and a bedside cabinet. I would have preferred a desk but you can't have everything in a small room.nThere was an en-suite with a toilet and shower and a closet wardrobe. At the front of the house wasnThe breakfast was excellent and served between 0815 and 0900. The room service was first class - professional, discreet and efficient.nA beach was at the bottom of the road about 200 yards away and the sea can be seen in the photo of the outside. I had a great stay. Very well run.
Great little place to stay that's close to town and there's a nice beach with sand close by. They offer breakfast options that are really easy to order and the breakfast buffet is also fantastic! All the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Really great place to stay.
good place to live although the room is a little bit small. the owner of the hotel is friendly and the breakfast is very delicious. I love the balcony as a great view of the beach~
