I see the negative reviews on here & I'm a little surprised. I've been using Cheerful Char since my son was born, so nearly 2 years now, and haven't had any problems. My particular cleaner, Carol, is wonderful. When she's out, other cleaners come instead; sometimes it's even the owner. They've always been accommodating of my schedule as well.

Came round to check the house, the day before we had a baby, then promised to ring to arrange a cleaning session. This was important to us as we knew we needed the support after our first child was born. Waited a week. Nothing, called them back, they appolagised, agreed to call us back to get a session booked in. Two weeks later still no call back. We called again. Then they said they were worried about there being a dog in the house. Would have been so much better to let us know immidiatly, so we could have got someone else in. Perfect timing for xmas. Inconsiderate to the extreme.

Having spent time on the phone talking through my requirements, I then waited a week for the owner to come and visit the premises so that he could understand exactly what I was after. So far OK, although I really needed to get the house clean and had already waited a week. Then I get a voicemail to tell me that the cleaner would be there not at the time I had specified and had been agreed but earlier, at a time inconvenient to me. So we are now two weeks into the discussions and I have still not seen a cleaner. Having pointed out that we had agreed a time and it had changed I got a text to say that it was not a convenient time FOR THEM! to clean and so they wouldnt be taking the job. So thanks for wasting my time Cheerful Char, I could not recommend you on any level. Customer service should be what you build your business on.
