Had a full course meal with my wife at lunchtime  in May. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more, excellent service as well as excellent food. It’s a very pleasant experience from beginning to end, it’s a tight menu but everything on it is prepared to perfection. Excellent wine selection and can I say it again wonderful service.

We were there for the 7 course taster menu to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with wife's brother and his wife. All the courses were excellent, it deserves its reputation, the service was what you would hope to find. A gem.

Cheal's is by far the best restaurant. We have eaten at Michelin places but they just do not score anything like the Cheal's experience. We again, had the Tasting Menu, such a varied taste experience, every course was delicious. The service from Liam and the team was excellent and attentive, so personal without being intrusive. Amazing experience. We had the 6  course tasting menu. The individual flavours came together perfectly, one dish after another was equally amazing in taste and presentation. Would highly recommend.

First time visitors, the restaurant has a cottage style vibe, we went during the week and the staff had great knowledge of the wines and the dishes and provided a friendly atmosphere, definitely recommend the Crispy Duck Yolk and the Cherry Soufflé.

We had a superb dinner at Cheal’s  last evening together with our son Lee and his wife Samantha. The service, as always, was immaculate… Impossible to have any criticism. The food was beautifully cooked and presented - I have to use the word DELICIOUS. I seldom recommend restaurants because I feel that most chefs just “ go through the motions” and leave customers wishing they had eaten at home. Cheal’s is so good in every respect that I wholeheartedly r3commend it to all who enjoy lovely food in a lovely venue with top class staff.
