I find the farm shop to be a bit hit or miss. Some really good quality produce, but also some not so good quality stuff at quite inflated prices. Would probably give the farm shop overall, however the cafe great. Staff have always been lovely and the food has always been great. Reasonably priced with generous portions and spectacular views.
Called in here after visiting the House/Grounds. Excellent mixed produce and a nice cafe to ‘finish off’ the day. Bought some small quiches for tea….OK ….but not much substance in them for the price £3.29 each.
Beautiful views from the amazing cafe/restaurant before shopping from the farm shop which has a lot of wonderful local products. Well stocked butchers, deli and bakery. One of my favourite places to visit.
Fantastic range in the shop, and all great produce. The staff were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. The café was lovely after a bit of a wait to get seated and again, the staff were great. We had the cream tea, which was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be here again soon.
Me and my family visited Chatsworth Farm shop and we were thrilled to see the variety of fresh/organic fruit and veg available. The place was very clean and the toilets were commendable! A thoroughly polished area with some cattle to see as well ad the Chatsworth estate only 5 min drive away from the shop. It was a lovely day out for us.
Incredible shop with a fantastic range of fresh food - superb. The cafe behind the shop separate entrance is brilliant. Fantastic food and service served quickly with views over the Derbyshire fields. Highly recommended. Back again in August - same menu, same great food.
Excellent farm shop with own butchery, fishmongers, and deli. Local produce and suppliers. Lovely cafe and views of Ednesor. Excellent, top quality food and drink, so expect to pay more. It is speciality not mass produced.
A beautiful place for lunch. The view from the outside terrace is stunning. Cakes were delicious. The savoury cheese cream tea was to die for. A massive pot of cream cheese and onion chutney.
Food at the cafe made our day. Fish & chip is very well fried and not too much oily, slow cook pork belly and roasted with apple jam is the top for me! Fresh orange juice & strawberries in the market is very delicious!
Lovely concept in that your shopping in one of the most prestigious grand houses in the UK and as such buying food which reflects that standard. There is a great array of foods for sale and always seems busy when we go. The breads a fresh and lovely, as is the array of meats on offer on the butchers counter. The cheese though is a little hit and miss with some purchases having to be binned as they were beyond to their best. I would suggest buying from the cheese counter rather than pre packed.
