Whilst this bar has the advantage of being open late (the only one besides Fridays which is often closed) it's one of the worst experiences I've had. Firstly you have to pay £2 for the privilege of being pushed around and waiting ages for a drink, the staff always serve their mates first, they are slow and often incompetent. The downstairs DJ couldn't mix a rice pudding never mind a music track (I'm told he's the assistant manager??) they always run out of ice resulting in warm drinks (this review is at night on a Saturday) the upstairs is grotty and coated in dirt, if you want to buy drugs it's the place as I was offered drugs 4 times in an hour! The police and ambulances are often called and can be seen outside so it proved the doorman are there for show not prevention. If you want a safe night out I would go to the local pubs and leave town early to go elsewhere. This is a true reflection of my 2 visits so the choice is yours!.

Good beer at a reasonable price. Get in before 11pm and you get in free and upstairs until 4am if you like. Downstairs is fun on a Saturday night as well.

brilliant customer experience, good pint, bar staff are very helpful and friendly and will take the time to chat to you when standing at the bar, always clean and tidy and wide choice of sports on the tv, good music and dance experience also
