This restaurant is an excellent place to visit if you’re around Kip. Not only does it have spectacular views of the marina and surrounding hills outside through the glass walls, but there is outside seating too if you feel like it. We got the combo starter for £15 and it turned out to not only be tasty but excellent value for money, it easily was a good size starter even when shared amongst the three of us all men over 6 foot, and could probably even be shared amongst four and still be perfectly adequately sized. The main meals we ordered were all delicious too. I ordered a king prawn salad, usually when I ordered such a thing I expect too few prawns to satisfy me, but that was certainly not the case here. Plenty of big, juicy prawns in a lovely salad. My companions also greatly enjoyed their meals. By the end we were all so full that desert was completely out of the question; but I suspect they too would have been good. Highly recommended! Good for children and adults alike. There was even a wedding happening there in one of the adjoining rooms; this place host quite a few weddings as it really is very lovely there. I’ve been eating here since 1997 and it’s never disappointed me yet.
Not only were the food and views fantastic, the service was outstanding. Turned up without a booking and they seated us quickly and easily, the staff were very attentive and even entertaining our toddler. After a delicious main meal for 3 of us, 2 desserts and a few drinks the £50 bill was a welcome surprise! Would definitely return again and can’t thank the team enough for a lovely evening. Our toddler played in the park after as well which looks like a pirate ship!
From the moment we walked through the door the service was first class. We had a drink at the bar as we were early and then we were seated at a lovely window seat at our booked time. The menu although not extensive made choices difficult as we liked all that was on offer. The staff were very attentive and first coarse was with us quickly. Yum. Almost forgot, the wine.. Again although not extensive there is a good choice and something for every taste. Second coarse arrived after a wee break and was fab, plenty of but left some room for pudding..... delish. Overall a great night was had great food, great service in a great place and I can't wait to go back. Prices are very reasonable so don't hold back.
Took the mrs here for our 30th birthdays. Staff were amazing and the food was incredible.. both really enjoyed ourselves. Very clean and beautiful views of the marina right outside the window. 100% will be going back
Good location. Very good food. Good variety on menu. Friendly staff. Seemed to be some strange rules, rigidly applied!
Only stopped for coffee and enjoyed this outside with the views of marina . Nice friendly staff. Lovely to see that dogs are welcome outside but didn't like that one was seated on bench beside its owner and was being allowed to sniff at table. Wouldn't really want to be sitting there after doggy left. I did say to a member of staff but his reply was that people do this!!!! As I said happy that dogs are allowed but definitely not to be seated or allowed to touch table ......

Excellent Views across Inverkip Marina, Fab food, generous portion sizes, great value for money and such lovely attentive staff.
We had our 50th wedding anniversary party here. Callum, Fraser and their staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Everything was exactly what we wanted. The burgers and chicken were amazing. We had a wonderful, chilled afternoon.....so thanks to everyone at the Chartroom.
Lovely place to stop for A Cuppa Tea/coffee, Can't rate the food as been closed since Xmas..but from past experience it was lovely. New management! I Think.Food: 3/5
