Everyone we dealt with at Charnock Bates was extremely professional and knowledgeable. From valuation, through marketing and then sales progression, each member of the team dealt with their part of the sales process efficiently and effectively and kept us informed every step of the way. If the person that you were dealing with was unavailable for any reason then there was always someone there to pass a message on and if your contact was on leave there was someone else in place who knew what was happening - communication is excellent. I highly recommend them and we will certainly be using them next time .... and yes, all of the glowing comments written in these reviews about Gill are spot on.
Once again Charnock Bates have gone above and beyond whilst selling our home, and this time they've also helped us through the purchase of buying another! Charnock were the estate agent we bought from so weren’t our actual estate agent. However the service received from Gill in particular was exceptional. Knowledgeable, skilled negotiator, dedicated, friendly and above all excellent communication. The biggest frustration in house moving is when things stand still and you can’t get hold of people. Gill is easy to reach and always pro-active in getting things resolved and keeping you up to date.
My wife and I were very delighted with the service from Gill Bateson the property sale coordinator and the rest of the team at Charnock Bates. She contacted us every week to keep us updated. This was really appreciated when the tension increased just prior to exchange of contracts and subsequent completion. I would have no hesitation in recommending Charnock Bates.

After having a few valuations we decided to go with Charnock Bates and they were amazing from start to finish. The photos were fabulous and the house sold in a week. We were then introduced to Gill who took over the sales process, we had a completion deadline of 8 weeks and without doubt and without Gills involvement wouldn't have happened as our buyers solicitors were very slow. Gill you are a star and a credit to your profession. We can't thank you enough. If I can say one thing Charnock Bates are brilliant.
