Very efficient even though very busy! You can pre order and bypass the queue - worth doing. Lovely fresh fish & whitebait and the nicest chips cooked in vegetable oil! Fat and crispy!! Massive ice cream selection including churros and milkshakes. Very impressed!
Visited twice in 3 days whilst on holiday and Wow! Best fish and chips we’ve ever had. The Lemon Sole was incredible, with a light and crispy batter. The portion sizes were on the generous side too with even my appetite defeated by the amount of chips I was given large portion. The children were catered for with a great variety on offer. But to top it off, the selection of plant based ice creams on offer for our son who has a milk allergy was wonderful to see. Sunshine and cider too on the benches out in front. Can’t recommend highly enough. The staff too were incredibly attentive and kind, and didn’t put a foot wrong with our order. Top marks, and hope we get the opportunity to dine there again in the future. Thank you.
Food is good, online ordering in theory is good but due to lack of slots, easier to go and wait, which you have to do, even just for chips. 3 times out of 5 wasn't given full order on departure and had to go back. Forgotten pizza, drinks or milk shake. Rather annoying after a wait. Staff always plentiful and pleasant, great menu and outside seating while you wait. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options, burgers, hotdogs, pies and pizza
Nice fish and chips however staff seemed a little disorganised couldn't find sauces or napkins and missed some of our order just some mushy peas. By the time we had got back to eat it, there was no point in returning. Fish was really tasty though and chips were nice. Would definitely return but next time I will check my order before I leave.
Online ordering is simple. Google only has this takeaway open two days the website says different. It was busy in the store. Sad to say the curry sauce needs more flavor and to be a thinker consistency. Cheesy chips.... Cheap cheese... Not good. The kids nuggets and chips were a decent size and the nuggets were nice. In future please give the straw with the drink. Sadly the chips were very basic somewhere soggy. As it's the only chip shop in town it is successful in a main town this would not be so successful. I hope they improve as this has all the chances of being a great chip shop. Parking: No parking at all. Only on street that's hard to find
We had fish and chips yesterday, and pizza tonight. Both amazing. Fish just melts in your mouth and you don't feel bloated afterWish we had one in Birmingham. And really nice staff.
The fish and chips were decent. Curry sauce was very runny watered down?. However PREORDER your food online. We waited 2 HOURS to order and collect our food. It was a bank holiday, it is strange times but really....fish and chips is supposed to be fast ish food to takeaway. If you want people to order online make it really clear on your website.
The chips are BANGIN’ here. The fish is good, but honestly, the chips are really summin’ great. Not really into their booking system, but what it lacks in charm it makes up for in efficiency.
Perfect holday - kids from home junk food addiction - I'm not saying the food is bad I'm saying it's great for the naughty things on the food chain, nuggets, huge ice creams, and burgers, the fish is very good, really very good, can get super busy in height of summer. Never had a bad meal
Excellent and tasty fish and chips with just the right amount of batter. The ice creams are to die for too!
