What a lovely pub very friendly and the Bowjolay lovely
Simon the owner very friendly and accommodating ,has a great clientelle comes in and very friendly pub , great place to relax meet new people. Also allows dogs there too. Nice garden area to sit in also.
Traditional pub nice ales plenty of sport on the TV's good pool table overall nice pub.

I once heard someone say nostalgically: “The Charlton was always more of a thinking man’s pub...” Simon still waits upon the great thinkers of the Dock and does a fine job of it.
