Wow this icecream was just out of this world. Plenty of space with a indoor cafe/parlour area and outdoor seating area with a playground for the young children. Animals to see with ducks in the pond. Tractor rides for the kids in bale carts and even a crazy golf. A very nice view all around but this is a very busy place. You will not be disappointed with quality like this yummy yum getting
Such a busy and exciting place for young children However if you order a funny face cup designed for children with one scoop of ice cream plus a wafer your children maybe disappointed to start with ! My granddaughters thought they had been left out. When I ordered the tubs and cones for the rest of our party these were served immediately and we were then told the funny cups would be served at the table! So two year olds didn’t understand why gran hadn’t bought them an ice cream - seems an odd way to do things and at £4.60 a cup a bit i pricey too. Ice cream; petting animals and play park all good. Yummy ice cream flavours, loads of sprinkles and toppings Definitely a place to visit for a treat
Best ice cream in the whole of Yorkshire and very reasonably priced. Lovely range of flavours and cone options, or a tub if you prefer. You can even get lunch here as sandwiches can be made to order. I would class this place as very COVID-19 safe, the owners obviously care a lot about keeping customers and staff safe and that's evident by lots of alcohol gel sanitisers in place at entrance and exit, very well managed social distancing one way system and signs for people to wear masks. Lovely little socially distanced picnic area with picnic benches. Lots of lovely animals which you can view for £1, love birds, chickens, alpacas, pigs, goats, donkeys, peacocks to name just a few. There is normally an adventure playground open for this kids, but obviously that's not operating at the minute. There is also a miniature crazy golf course which I believe is operating normally. Free car park, we went on a busy hot day and we were still able to park up without any issues.
Weird place that isn't quite sure what it is. Ice cream parlour, farm animals, kids rides and park equipment. Kids loved it though, so it does the job. You have to pay extra for the rides by buying tokens from a machine outside. Generally £2 per ride or £3 for crazy golf. Don't put the money in the machine too quickly or it won't give you enough tokens and you have to ask the man to come and sort it out, which he wasn't best pleased about! It gets very busy and the car park can get full. Only one male and one female toilet, so at busy times there will be a queue!
Amazing little icecream parlor with homemade icecream, sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc. Usual choices of cold and warm drinks. Small park area and farm animals outside all free! And stunning views.
I visited Charlottes ice cream parlour today around an hours visit. The views are stunning, very picturesque. There is plenty of seating outside to sit and enjoy the warm weather. There’s also a small farm with a range of animals. My little cousin particularly enjoyed hearing the cockerels. She also loved the play area. We had ice cream which was lovely. But I think it is slightly pricey but there are no entrance and parking fees. There was mini golf and a mini train, however this wasn’t open today. I would return if I was nearby.
Small but good for children with a play area, train ride and a giant slide plus a few animals to look at. Ice cream is very good as is the cafe in general but it does get very busy.
Play area is superb. Having to queue for 15 minutes to order a sandwich was no fun.The sandwich wasn't really worth the money either. I'm sure they could have a better system in place! Then we had to re_queue for ice cream.
Lovely place with good kids facilities. Shame not everything was open but lovely ice cream and liked the retro sundae choices
Lovely ice cream parlour with lots of attractions for kids. Ice creams are amazing. Highly recommended.
