Unfortunately you have to give at least 1 star - if you could put minuses it would be more appropriate.

He is a terrible person.  We had 2 deliveries no problem.  Third time I was not in so he dealt with my partner.  He made up an astronomical price 35% more than we agreed and forced her into paying.  In the end I made him come and collect them.

He is not to be trusted.  I would suggest if you do deal with him please be careful.  Saving a couple of pounds against the cost of a reputable supplier is not worth it.  

Avoid Charlies Logs – Note he also trades as Fire Wood Logs Bolton (I assume as his reputation is so damaged?).

Spoke to my girlfriend like an absolute git. Don't go to this place. Don't help his business he is a horrible human being. It's a good job for him that it was her that he dealt with and not me. Prick!

This is the most untrustworthy person I've ever had to deal with. Made an order twice for firewood, never turned up both times, even offered to collect and was refused. 
Would never use them again due to his very inappropriate responses to concerned "customers", bad language and poor attitude towards people. 
I found info online relating to Charlies Logs DB Farming Ltd, previously a pig farmer, hence the shocking way he speaks to people, as he's used to dealing with animals. Its your choice should you want to waste your time, as there's many companies out there offering firewood that won't speak to you like they are above you. Such a shame as they are 2 miles away from where we live
