Terrible customer service and ignorant pharmacist for the second time, won't shop at Michie's again. The attitude of the pharmacist here is appalling, no regard for customer satisfaction. I went in after an appointment with my optician to purchase eye drops on their advice and I trust their expertise on the subject a helluva lot more than some ignorant pharmacist on a power trip. I asked the assistant for the drops and he went and asked the pharmacist who said I had to wait TEN MINUTES to speak to the pharmacist before he'd sell them to me. I'd already been examined by the optometrist and advised what to get so I didn't need to wait 10 minutes until the pharmacist decided he was good and ready to talk to me, you know, a customer! I asked the assistant to just sell them to me as my optometrist has advised me to use them and I don't need a consultation with the pharmacist, so he went and asked the pharmacist again who still wouldn't come and talk to me himself and it was a flat no, wait 10 minutes till he's good and ready and decides I'm worthy of his attention. Well I didn't wait, not with that appalling treatment, I went to Boots and the lovely pharmacist there sold me the treatment straight away, taking the time to explain their use and adverse effects to look out for. They were cheaper too! That's the second time I've came away from Michie's pharmacy Stonehaven and had to go elsewhere to get what I need because of the deplorable customer service and bad attitude from the pharmacists at Michie's. There won't be a third time. The pharmacist was right there, the assistant asked him twice, yet he didn't even acknowledge my existence or look at me, and asking me to wait 10 minutes seemed to be for no other reason than he could. That's not just rude it's vindictive and hostile. I won't be giving my custom there or any Michie's again, not when that's their standard of service.
I had a heated conversation with the pharmacist in here once over a year ago I could not bring my self to use the place again until a few days ago and i got the same pharmacist he went out of his way to help me I cant thank him enough he took time to explain to me about my medication all I can say is thank you so much
On holiday in the area and required medication. Spoke to the pharmacist who was more than extremely helpful. He even delayed his lunch break to make sure I got the medication I required. Service was over and above what I would have expected. Thank you.
Was on holiday in Stonehaven when I needed advice from a Pharmacist. I went in to Michie's and was pleasantly surprised, the Pharmacist went above and beyond to help me out. As I was a visitor to the area he contacted the Doctors and arranged a call back for me. I would definitley recommend this pharmacist.
Best pharmacist ever. So helful. Asked to see the pharmacist for advice on what cream to put on a rash on my face. It was the Saturday just before Xmas. He looked at may face & he thought I had shingles. He immediately called NHS24 & got an appointment with a doctor at the local hospital that night at 7pm. He also called the nearest pharmacy that would be open to make sure they had the drug that would probably be prescribed. I duly attended the hospital that night & the pharmacist was totally correct in his diagnosis. Without his help, my treatment would have been delayed for a day or two to see a doctor, & with shingles, speedy medication is key. So a big thank you to the pharmacist at Charles Michies.
they never ever pick up their phone useless, remove your contact if you don't know how to operate the telephone my god.
Have to use here a lot. The staff are amazing and helpful, full of knowledge and confidence, highly recommend if you need a chemist in the area, they will help at every turn. Also as a star prize, the staff are absolutely awesome
Paul Dunlop was fantastic. I arrived after the store was closed but was let in to buy emergency first aid supplies. Really great service.
Very helpful staff. Excellent advice for my 13 month old daughter and her infected eyes. Thankfully on the mend now.
The pharmacists have always been very helpful and the rest of the staff have been great.
