Underground station review: Nice London Underground station with current modernisation works of the ticket hall underway the station can be quite busy as some exits are closed. However, the new ticket so far is looking really nice so definitely worth the slight disruption. The platforms are spacious and have nice mosaic art on the walls.
Many London sights are easily accessible from the front entrance, which opens onto the Strand. There are plenty of stores offering food for your trip. Kent and portions of East Sussex are served by the station. There are many amenities and some good architecture, though not as much as at some of the other stations in London. The embankment is located at the end of the road; take the right exit and walk down. Very practical
I don’t travel by train very often, so I get a bit confused with the departure board. At Charing Cross, it is clear and concise. It has enough info, not too much. There some cafes and a very clean toilet. Great!
