A great cafe that feels light and airy. Has decent selection of sandwiches/toast/bagels for food and the tea and coffee are on point. Overall pleasant place to spend an hour or two.
Found this place on accident. Sadly didn’t come up on a google maps search for “coffee shops”. Not sure why but sure as hell happy I walked by en route to another coffee shop. This place is the perfect mix of coffee shop, place for lunch/dinner, and a place for community events. Cafe is broken up into 3 sections. Front portion for seating. Middle section is divided from the front via the coffee bar. And finally the community room is in the back but the entire shop is one large space. Enjoyed about 5 or 6 hours here. Everything I ordered from a latte, to tea, all the way to a pizza with the option of vegan cheese was tip top quality. If I lived here no doubt I’d be a regular.
Amazing course about making sushi. Great place also. Just meringues were uncooked and awful. At least Oreo Brownie was delicious.
Great indoor chilling environment. Great to watch the world go by. Fabulous toasties too!
Prompt and friendly service. Good coffee and cake and lovely big relaxing space.
Wanted to Visit tue toy shop. But it was closed so we decided to have a small break next Door. Great Service here from the Team. We can highly recommend this place
Friendly, cool and with a nice open space. Comfortable chairs and cool art. Oh - and coffee was good. Recommend!
If you’re the type of person who enjoys a white hot chocolate as much as I do, then Tinderbox is the place to go for one. Remember those comforting bubble baths you had as a child? Well this hot chocolate was just like that but with a bit more sugar and way less soap. This will be one milk moustache that I shall not be happy wiping off anytime soon.
The staff were rude and condescending. Me and my friend bought two coffees each in the space of a few hours and we were asked to leave as soon as the second one was finished, despite the fact that there were multiple tables available. This would’ve been fine if the cafe was busy and the staff spoke to us in a respectful way. However, we were referred to as “girls” even though we were 24 years old and was spoken to in a condescending and disrespectful way. Aside from this, even when we ordered coffees when we first arrived, the barista was unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Overall, would not recommend this place.
Great coffee, food, environment and it’s a Glasgow chain ! The staff here are also really friendly :
