A terrific art gallery, community hub, cinema, bar and eatery just outside the city centre in Canton. Even when it's packed the kitchen staff smash out the orders at a fine rate. There's plenty of room, it's child friendly and the quality is very good. My only gripe is that parking can be a problem and you might end up crawling the tight streets of Canton for a spot. Get there early!

It's a lovely place to hang out. They play old movies along with the new ones in the cinema. The cafe is good and the food as well. It is a laid back place. Nice for kids and children.

The wonderful Chapter Arts Centre, the former Canton High School buildings since the early 1970s, now renovated (in 2009) with trendy, architectural, yet sympathetic brilliance... creating a thriving and dynamic social space. The café-bar, which works alongside their expanding programme of international art, performance, and film... is a great venue for a bar experience with great beers and other offerings, for food, for a movie, or just to hang out. 

I was there last Saturday, the afternoon Cardiff City won promotion to the Premier League. The sun was shining. We sat outside in the beer garden and simply enjoyed the moment, and the venue...

Great venue! I love that I can have some proper food and go to see great films in the same venue. the good us good and reasonably priced and the cinema experience is respectful of the film type and clean and comfortable, I will definitely go again!

Great food and drinks. Love the wheat beer on tap. Also good for hot drinks and cakes. Saw the Silent Child and other films.
