Wholesome home made everything. The granary bread is awesome. Today we had Scouse with red cabbage & beetroot and a Cottage Pie which were scrumptious.
Nice food, but have started charging for tap water, which I don't approve of, so I won't be back. When mentioned got a monologue on the cost of water rates and staff time used getting the water, neither of which amounts to a significant amount, so didn't help. I am happy for tap water to only be provided when buying food, but their rule is that you have to purchase another drink, and the ones offered do not appeal.
Fab service as per usual! Always with a smile! We had ploughmans and chicken saled, drizzled in their very own special olive oil!! Luvly!!! We would have had a desert however the home cooked bread filled us up nicely however i would'av gone for the manchester tart as ive had this in the past. Remember 'sitting by nellie, old school or chantilly style' x x
The best Tea shop on the Wirral, it is great to see that the art of the master baker is alive and well. The Cakes, Pies and traditional Liverpool dishes are fantastic. Try it!
Hot cream scone was delicious. Coffee not as good but lovely staff and sunny position. Well worth a visit all the home made goods look lovely.
The wide range of the gluten free cakes. The slice of Lemon Drizzle that I had was very nice.
