Story

Training Centres in Swadlincote & Burton on Trent, Chesterfield opens Sept 2015

We are the local CSCS card training and testing centre.

We offer a full range of Construction courses in Plastering, Building Maintenance, Wall & Floor Tiling, Electrical and Brickwork from Diplomas Levels 1,2 and 3 and NVQ's 2 and 3 as well as Apprenticeshps. We also deliver beginners 5 day plastering and tiling courses as well as Heritage plastering.

Most of our courses are fully funded including courses for the unemployed from 19+ (all ages are eligible)

We work with local schools and authorities to engage youngsters in construction training.

For those who want to add a new skill we offer short Plastering, Bricklaying and also Wall and Floor Tiling courses.

We also offer evening courses on a Tuesday and Thursday evening. Sisters are Doing for Themselves is our 2 day Women's Only DIY course.

We also offer BTEC courses in Construction suitable for 14 - 16 year olds working as an alternative provision to traditional schooling.
