I went during a drag show night and it was amazing. Loads of people but not too crowded, fast service, and very good atmosphere. I had a very good experience compared to all the bad reviews. The songs were perfect, very good DJ that night.Service: 5/5
Like many other reviews have indicated, Chambers Bar is not worth your time or money. My brother and I visited on a Friday night and it was mostly empty. The majority of the clientele were locals who got quite unruly and spilled a whole drink all over us without apologizing or even acknowledging it. The only positive thing I can say is that we got quick service as the bar was fully staffed the night we went, but I would still recommend avoiding this place altogether and taking your money elsewhere.
Good atmosphere, quite crowded. Shocked to see so many there. We had prebooked tickets and there was a queue to check our tickets and our covid certs and ID. The Drag act was on, which was great. The music wasn't fantastic but enjoyed the company I was in. Sad to see so many legless. At 11.30 pm, the music stopped and the doors opened, encouraging us to go out. A very young crowd. Could do more to make this space more LGBT inclusive for all the community, neurodivergent and those with disabilities
Says they’re open, went there, they were shut. Second time it’s happened. First time I was refused entry seemingly because “I came too late” it was about 12:20, advertised closing was 2am. This time, advertised 2am closing, 12:30 I show up, no one around. It’s the only gay bar in Cork apparently you’d think they’d know how to operate a business-hours timetable.
Went on a Sunday night no doors open why....a gay club for cork city...should be ashamed
Just wanted to say, I was there for Pride last night and there was an incident of a girl collapsing. The bouncers reaction was horrible to watch as they were extremely aggressive, manhandled and shouted at her poor girlfriend who was in shock. They then proceeded to throw her out and left her alone on the street outside. It was like watching an assault and the poor girl wasn't doing anything wrong. Never seen anything like it. Won't ever be setting foot in here again. They need to do something about the way they treat clients... Bouncers were disgraceful
Hate crimed by the Reardens security, was told to leave drink inside no problem then allowed outside, then immediately not allowed back in, not gay friendly do not give them your gay euros bouncers are extremely disrespectful towards patrons. was immediately told to contact the Garda to deal with the situation, a waste of the gardas time, we contacted Garda as instructed, the Garda later called back, issue is nonresolved. Advice: never hand money to this venue. Create a safe loving space elsewhere
The worst experience for night out!! The behaviour of people inside was disgraceful!! The people who shouting a lots about tolerance!! They don’t know what the tolerance is meaning!! The security!!! I have never had so bad an experience, security lady !!!very Aggressive ! Mean to the clients . she supposed to be fired!! Never came across with so high vulgarity!! I’m disgusted .
Wonderful place to go out, a safe place for all. Great drag shows and similar events on a weekly basis. Just really sad to see people bringing their own earplugs, never seen music and mics so loud that it's clipping 90% of the time. Kills the vibe a small bit
