My dinner was cold. My carrots were virtually raw. Potatoes were hard. Yorkshire Pudding was like rubber. Could have used the beef as a Frisbee. Meal was a disaster. Eventually reluctantly offered a refund. Think I'll stick to Brucefield Farm.
Excellent service , really polite staff and didn't rush us out the door despite us sitting a little bit longer than we should have . All at a time of uncertainty with their jobs.
Vist today was pleasantly surprised quick attentive service. Made to feel welcome and comfortable by all staff from behind the bar to servers. Food was lovely & filling. Service would be a 5/5.
Good wee meal out before the kids go back to school. Staff doing well to keep everything clean and "normal" now we are allowed to eat out again. Eat out to help out scheme running this week so an absolute bargain for some good food.
Visited for a 2nd time, what a drastic deterioration. Very quiet, and not surprising. If you don't fancy carvery, menu is dull, who puts cheese sauce in a beef & Ale Pie?? Nothing simple. No homely foods. Place filthy. Wiped the wee ones high chair before putting her in, so glad I did. See pics. Won't be back.
Good pub with a nice outside seated area. The food is good and it is well priced and the staff are very friendly. We went there for a meal post covid and it was very clean and the system in place allowed for social distancing.
Great food great service and given these difficult times with covid19. They have a very very safe environment. You can relax and enjoy will definitely be back.
Really good experience, really well organised for social distancing and all safety precautions have been thought of. Will definitely be back.
