We came after a day at the zoo and it was the best end to our already lovely day. Our waitress Khushi was so kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere at Chai Thali is very nice, in a street food place it is a bit upscale. The food is good. We had the bhindi khakri, which was OK. The vegetables tandoori was very good, as was the vegetarian biryani but for some reason it comes with sweet raita. The chicken palak was excellent. Service is a hit and a miss, perhaps staff shortage. All in all, we will come again and try new dishes.
The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of authentic Indian dishes that were rich in flavour and perfectly prepared. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for a great place to enjoy a meal, it is definitely worth a visit.Food: 4/5
Beautiful location for a date or catch-up with friends, on quiet Mandela road, immaculate settings and lively bollywood/fashionable Mumbai look, but the food is the reason to come. A wide selection of popular Indian snacks, curries, small plates and sides, something for everyone. Menu is carefully marked for food allergies, vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommended Vegetarian options: Banarasi kofta one of the best I've tasted!!! Dietary restrictions: Clearly delineated sairy, crustacean, egg, gluten-free, cashew/pistachio, mustards, soy, and spicy Wheelchair accessibility: Wide ramps but doors to bathrooms may require a friend?
One of the best Indian vegetarian food we had in london. Large sitting, good interior and sometimes Bollywood night. Soya chap was really good.Food: 5/5
Satisfied meal of the day that much I can say, we managed to satisfy our taste buds through few starters and desserts. Service was great, it was quite and peaceful when ve visited we enjoyed the ambience to fullest.Food: 4/5
My husband treated me for my birthday today and we were both very impressed with not only the taste of the food but also the service and portion size. We had a mix of veg and non veg dishes and not one of them didn't please, the meat was tender and well seasoned and the vegetarian items were also seasoned very well. We had a booking for early evening so it was quiet when we got there but then as we were leaving it started to get busy Thanks for the great service and making my birthday meal a good one!
I visited this hidden gem with my friends. I loved the ambiance especially how each table is uniquely named after an Indian city. We started with my favorite Papri Chat, followed by Murg Malai Tikka. For the main, We enjoyed the mouth-watering Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani and Dhaaba Murg with sumptuous garlic naans. I have been craving Gajjar Ka Halwa since I moved to London, so I had to try it. We also had strawberry and mango lassi and ended with Kadak Chai and biscuits Everything at Chai Thali had the purest South Asian taste. Do visit this secret spot for authentic Indian food and Bollywood night experiences.
