I feel genuinely fortunate to have received care from this team. The doctors have been excellent. I was first seen by Dr Guna Room 1, then Dr Grewal kindly called to explain that an MRI was needed. After the scan, Dr Aiub followed up with me, and yesterday Dr Mamun took the time to go through everything in more detail and reassured that she will call me again if required.nnAlthough she hasn’t been involved in this particular matter, I also want to acknowledge Dr Evans, who has always brought such positive energy and enthusiasm whenever I’ve encountered her.nnA special mention goes to Lisa, the Practice Secretary. She has been consistently helpful and incredibly efficient. She’s a real credit to the practice.nnWe only have one health, and when something needs investigating, you want the right people on your side. I am feeling blessed to be at this GP Surgery, I’m truly grateful.
We visited the practice yesterday for clarification, and Rhona, the receptionist, spoke with my husband and me. Her approach made us feel calm and helped to change our perception of the practice. The way she communicated was noticeably different from that of the few receptionists we had spoken to over the phone. I think Rhona should be considered for head of communications at the practice, rather than just being a receptionist.
I’ve never heard of a worse customer service than at this doctors. I’ve had my mum in tears on multiple occasions because of how she has been spoken to by the receptionist. As far as I am aware, it is not a receptionists role to make a clinical judgement on someone’s health, especially one they know nothing about.nOne of these receptionists thought it appropriate to make a rude judgemental comment on my mums mental health, when in fact, she found her husband dead at the bottom of the stairs.nIf I’m honest, that receptionist would be better off kept out the back scrubbing the toilet.
Why are the receptionists allowed to act like doctors and shut down people in need? It's a standard practice that they ask professional medical question without relevant qualifications and always find a way to make you feel uncomfortable and shut you down.
The caring, compassionate & helpful staff have provided support for me here my whole life and I have not had a bad experience with their team. A very reliable service in a system under pressure. I am very grateful for their help!
