Visited to choose fancy dress outfits for the Maggie costume Ball next weekend. Had my wife and daughter with us to help choose the most ridiculous outfits. Mine won, look out for pictures at the Lowry Hotel. Mine has a hat too . The helpers were funny, had great ideas, especially for me, picked outfits in an hour but had set two aside, more time to drink the Guinness at the Ireland/England 6Nations NOT 7 Nation As in Army!! Recommend the outfits that cost £30/day which is very cheap.
Good theatre of around 200 seats. Unusually for a venue like this was not completely roasting inside the auditorium. Seating was slightly uncomfortable. Bar was cheap and stocked 2 local ales but otherwise had the usual fare. Car parking is free in the evening at the municipal car park across the road. Their own one is very tight.
A fantastic, high quality local theatre with exceptional front of house staff and service. Visited for the first time to watch The Hollow great fun. Surprised at how comfortable and roomy the seats were and how well organised and friendly everything was. The CHADS team could teach bigger venues a thing or two about how to deliver a great customer experience. Well done to the whole team. Will definitely return.
Always enjoy a theatre visit and the coffee or alcholic drink at the Interval.Very pleasant venuje. Looking forward to a good murder mystery soon. The presentation of the 39 Steps and Hound of the Baskervilles were both brlliant. Very friendly welcome from all the volunteers. A good night out!

Everything about CHADS is excellent. Friendly welcome, good bar, comfortable seats and always extremely impressive acting. We've seen numerous different productions and the latest one, Educating Rita, was, as usual, superb. All those who contribute to this theatre company deserve great credit.
Went to see Educating Rita,and what a brilliant performance by both actors. It's a lovely, friendly little theatre that regularly has some great plays on.
CHADS is well appointed, comfortable, and extremely welcoming. Above all, my experience is that the quality of the productions and acting performances is consistently very high. Having attended for many years, I must say that "Shadowlands" last night raised the bar even higher. Well done everyone involved!
What can I say? Wonderful venue, small and friendly and simply amazing. The acting is fantastic and the sets and costume brilliant. For a small theatre it is fabulous. The bar area is welcoming and friendly and great value too. Every single interaction from the welcome at the door to the bar staff and actors are perfect. Would highly recommend.
