I had issues with a phone I bought from a different branch, but both Ned and Emma have been superstars in helping me deal with the issue. Both were very friendly yet professional, reassured me that they would help me out, which they did, and I couldn't be more thankful. Customer service is paramount to the success of a business, so I would make sure to look after both of them so they can keep shining like they do.
Probably one of the worst branches I’ve seen. I asked to check a pair of headphones and the girl sad you can’t touch em nor try them, and when I sad I would just want to make sure they’re in excellent condition as graded an “A” she replied that they’re second hand and you can’t try them before you buy them. I simply went to another branch and bought em from them.
Look, it's just a shop, but If on a good day you ge a good staff, it makes all the difference. Today, Ned was very helpful, and most importantly he didn't treat me like l was a thief, unlike the lady staff who served me a fortnight before. Hopefully the next few visits will encourage me to give five stars.
I’ve been to most CeX branches in London but this one is by far the worst. I tried to sell a laptop to the store they said it failed which is fair enough, however when I asked why it had failed the lady serving me could not explain why it had failed she just kept repeating the same non sensical sentence to me and getting louder and louder until she stormed off. When she returned I asked her if I could speak to the tester, she got the tester and he explained the problem to me The battery health was 83% and policy is not to take anything below 85% and I was happy to take the item back. I think staff need more training so that they can explain these sorts of technical things to customers instead of just shouting at them. After I got home I noticed the tester had forgot to reset the laptop probably against store policy so I had a look at the windows battery report which said the laptop had been powered on for less than 30 minutes while it was at the store. Bit of a joke because I waited two days for them to test it.
I want to speak to someone in shop from the phone number, just a simple question but i always get a robot telling me to go somewhere else for something that i do not want and then the phone just hangs up on me? Gives me no further option to call the actual shop. If the phone number does not call the shop then do not put a phone number on the branches/shops website.
Utter cowboys, bought a phone that was faulty and they won't fix or refund and claim I have damaged it on top of the fault. I see from reviews this has happened to many. I am now in the process of taking them to small claims court and I advise you all to do the same. They should not be able to get away with this.
Terrible customer service. I bought two PS5 controllers from them, they both got severe tick drift in about a week. I came back to get them fixed with clear video evidence that there is stick drift, they looked at it for about 30 seconds and told me there's no stick drift and they can't fix it.
Customer service excellent from all members of staff, who were happy to answer questions and check specific details of the laptop I was interested in. A generally friendly atmosphere. I was primarily helped by Ned who knows his stuff when it comes to computers and helped me pick out a laptop that suited my needs.
My local CeX and the place I'm a regular at. Even though there isn't much stock and they don't rly check to see if they have stuff on on shelves, the staff are nice and will assist you if you are a regular. From the time this written. I'm going there today.
They wouldn't accept credit cards that have a signature on the back. They didn't really offer alternative solutions for payment and when I asked what sort of credit card they would accept, they didn't really have an answer other than just not the one I had. I've never seen a credit card that you weren't supposed to sign on the back. So I was obviously confused. I had just arrived there from a different CEX about a mile away where my credit card was accepted. So apparently different locations have different payment standards even though they are all a part of a larger chain. Makes no sense. I was excited to game hunt in London for PAL exclusives. Now I'm not. I'll just turn to eBay for any further purchases.
