Fantastic court to experience world first-class tennis. Such an exciting experience! Even though our seats were very high up seat 200, row ZC, gangway 510 the view was great for watching everything and seeing where the ball landed. Bringing binoculars was a good idea for zooming in on the players and the celebrities! I kind of wish they used the screens to watch plays on repeat. The court is covered so no need to worry about the rain.
Whether you like tennis or not, this is the place to be when Wimbledon is on.nIt is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most people.nHowever, over the years, I’ve noticed a lack of attentiveness from the management, reflecting in a decline in the overall quality of the tournament’s organization. It appears that there is a need for more proactive involvement and a genuine commitment to enhancing the tournament experience for both participants and attendees.nMoreover, the on-ground staff’s limited knowledge and challenges in providing accurate directions to facilities have been a recurring issue I was told by one of the staff members that they were given a 30 minutes training the day before the tournament started ! and if in doubts “just stay compose and send them to the office section”.nClear communication and proper guidance are crucial elements in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event for all involved. Tickets aren’t cheap folks c’mon!
Amazing! The weather was very British during our visit, but thank goodness for the cover, we weren’t affected. Security is everywhere, but in a non-intrusive way, staff are super friendly and eager to help you find your way. Loved it!
Went there for the Wimbledon final, Djokovic against Alcaraz. Getting there isn’t all that complicated, catch the southwest train at Waterloo and get out at Wimbledon station. Then hop on a bus that goes directly to the fields, just outside the Wimbledon train station. The courts are amazing.
Wimbledon was pretty awesome, Court 1 has a cover so we avoided the thunderstorm. We saw the number 1 seed Sinner, and the match was incredible. There's a lot of food places about including gluten free options.
