Mission

To work with Wirral Council to make Central Park a great day out for all the fmaily.

"Central Park started life as the grounds to Moors Hey House later Liscard Hall. The owner Sir John Tobin purchased the land in 1828 and created gardens and paths shortly afterwards. This predates, Birkenhead Park opened in 1847, and Sefton Park and Stanley Park in Liverpool which were opened in 1870’s.Central Park was opened on Whit Monday 18 May 1891. The grounds were turned into Central Park whilst the house was turned into an arts school"

Popular and beautiful park in Wallasey. It's got football pitches, cricket ground, children's play area, walled garden, toilets, cafe, fishing lake, fitness course and a free carpark. There's usually an ice-cream van beside the carpark.
As with all parks very pleasant, dog friendly, wide open spaces for sport, picnics and walks. A great space for all ages. Includes 2 ponds skate park play area and a nice relaxing garden area with refreshments.
Love the walled garden cafe here. It's cheap and always warm. Great place to stop of for a quick bite and a hot drink. Good range of snacks. Great place for parents to take kids, as its cheap .. thumbs up
Caught 5 Carp in about 6 hours which for this time of year is actually pretty good.
Nice going on my walk around park every morning. They have done alot of work to enhance the park. The lake and play areas . Be lost without it .
Great park and well kept. The play park had something for all ages, the gardens were nice to walk round with little areas for children, the cafe and toilets were clean and tidy and within the cafe you can buy food for the ducks to go and feed them at the big lake. There were also some statues and what looked like an exercise bit and basketball/football court we didn't go that side to see.
Such an amazing place and park staff make sure it keeps up to date which they do a very amazing job at. Playground: Safe for all ages Restrooms: Always nice and clean Dog-friendliness: Allows all your fluffy friends Picnic area: Great pic nic areas which sometimes holds great events
Lovely park, bigger than you think. The lake has lots of geese, ducks and swans. Sometimes when I've been some thoughtless people have left rubbish, packaging from fishing equipment and fast food containers, which is really annoying. But mostly it's a nice clean park, spring is especially beautiful with lots of lovely flowers and a walled garden too.
Beautiful park. Nice big play area for the kids. Nice large fishing pond wirh plenty of big Carp and other species. Plenty of grass to relax on and overall a nice walk round for some exercise.
A large park, complete with lake and forested areas, walled garden, cricket ground and outdoor gym equipment. The park is well kept and fairly tidy but very busy on hot days.
