Great location and friendly staff. The price we payed considering it was the London Marathon and FA Cup weekend was a bargain. Rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. The hotel is going through a refurbishment - our room was on the 3rd floor which needed updating but was clean and confortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby should you prefer to have breakfast or wish to dine outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good. The underground is less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. I would happily stay at this hotel again.
We were staying in Londaon for a few nights, and the hotel was in a fantastic location right next to Hyde Park, with a great choice of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The hotel was very nice and reasonably priced, especially for the location. Very warm welcome on arrival, with staff available should you need anything. The room was very well presented, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bar area was nice with plenty of seating with a cosy environment.
Please avoid this hotel. They don't prioritize your security. Even after showing the recorded video to the General Manager, no action was taken. This incident happened in 2022. I came across a review where another customer reported losing belongings just two weeks ago. Therefore, I feel compelled to share my own experience.
A perfect price/performance hotel.nlocation is very good.nrooms are small but daily cleaning is nice.nemployees are friendly and helpful.nIt would be nice to find a bottle of water in the room, but there is a supermarket very close by.nThe only problem is the very noisy guests.
We had a very modern and comfortable room in the basement. From location, perfect! Unfortunately at present there are ongoing renovations and the air conditioning wasn’t working. The room was at 26 degrees, uncomfortably warm. When we complained after one night we were told the air conditioning would be fixed. Night two was just as bed, too hot to sleep. When we complained again we were told we should have said something earlier, we could have changed rooms ….
