Very nice place to study, read or simply take your laptop down too. They have free WiFi and power sockets for your laptop etc. Printers are available at a very low-price 15p A4 black and white. Staff are welcoming and have technical knowledge.
Spent a few hours here one wet day last month. Good selection of books in the two topics I was researching. The alarm that kept going off was incredibly jarring and ruined the library atmosphere.
Great library with friendly staff. It's nice and quiet so an excellent place to sit and study. Their selection of history books is particularly good, especially if you're into local and Scottish history. They also have a lot on WW2.
The central has old and modern books. The Internet speed is second to known. You can browse for free and borrow books if you have a library card. I notice that the heatings are always off, making the library very cold. I spent 8 hours inside and was impacted by the lack of heating. I understand the current energy situation; however, a warm library equals a warm welcome. A wonderful place.
The Central Library is a fantastic resource, free access to massive amounts of local information is a most for locals and visitors. The vast range of publications that can be accessed electronically and physically paper copies is amazing - trade and technical journals as well as general. The Business Information service contains detailed information that makes it the first place to go for market research. Trade Directories and business reports are freely available. Company and Institutional reports are in the shelf. This is the place to go.
Great place to read, relax between books and shelves Affordable Printing services. Friendly staff and endless resourcesVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
