Close to the town centre. Parking next door but not free £1.50 for an hour or £2.50 for 2 hours - money returned if you spend £15 ornMore at the co-op hand sanitiser by the door. Decent range of goods including lunchtime meal deals. Post office on site but hours May differ. Free to use cash machine outside and pay point accepted For Council tax / utility bills etc.

Queues do build up during busy times. No self checkout options available.nnBeen told on more than a few occasions that this store doesn’t accept the NUS Student discount card despite the CO-OP sponsoring the card their logo is printed on the card.
I am not impressed with staff members and their discrimination against a young girl with an assistance dog. Whether it's due to the breed of her assistance dog or the way the young alternative girl looks or not I am not sure.nnI witnessed a manager on Thursday being incredibly rude to a young girl with an assistance dog, to which the girl, who I noticed was under some stress from being overwhelmed being a mental health worker I notice these things easier than your average person.nnThe manager, Kevin was asking the young girl for proof of her assistance dogs identification after telling her no dogs are allowed in the store and being informed the dog is an assistance dog, which might I add, is illegal and the young girl informed him as such as she walked away from him to save any alterations happening.nnI unfortunately watched the whole thing unfold and then witnessed the staff member behind the till also being less than helpful to the young lass.nnI left my shopping and followed her outside to have a chat with her, to check she was okay, because I was incredibly worried for her. I waited with her until her mother answered the phone as she started to cry and then I left her with her car and gave her my details in case she needed a witness for any legal action that may be taken if the head office isn't helpful.nnTonight I have had a message from her stating that another manger who did not give her access issues but who has been 'warned' about her from Kevin was also not the nicest to her along with the staff member laughing the whole time she spoke to the manager. She now wears a body cam she informed me and has got evidence of this too, which I have seen.nnI have decided to put a review out there to prewarn any other disabled members of the community or those that are visiting Ashbourne to be aware of this. The young lass informed me that this is the first co-op central in the country she has had an issue with and she visited another one in Ashbourne, her first evening living here, with her dog, not vested and didn't get any access issues.
Lovley shop, great staff, helpfull, allways tidy and clean. Produce is very good,
I like this shop because it oepns very early.
