We finally managed to find a seat this week at this great new lounge in Ashby. It's been busy every time we have past it's doors in the last few weeks. The decor is fabulous, warm and welcoming and our food order when it arrived was was great with large portions and super delicious.nnYou can order at your table with a QR code or go up to the bar for service, both are pretty efficent.nnI would definitely recommend paying a visit, they have made a cracking job with the old bank building and the atmosphere was lovely.
Really nice.nI had the alcohol free cocktails, taste just the same.nI had a vegi cauliflower noodle dish for my main. It was really nice.nSome good vegi options to pick from.nI also had a banana cheesecake which tasted amazing!nI ordered online and at the bar, both were pretty quick.
Met my friend for lunch yesterday , had the combo soup& half tuna baguette .nBaguette was lovely , soup was scolding hot burnt my tongue so bad , couldn’t taste it . My friend had same Added splash of water to cool it down and said her vegetable soup was tasteless @ watery .we do like meeting there . Great service & atmosphere.nBut they need to more aware of temperatures . Hot yes but scalding NO.i still having problem this morning with my burnt tongue .nDebbie from Milton Keynes
We spent a lovely afternoon here. The place seems to be very popular and lively and I loved the decor - floral wallpaper and old paintings. The staff were all very helpful my sister was in a wheelchair and found us a table with plenty of room. We ordered using the app and the drinks appeared very quickly. The food didn't take much longer and was lovely. One of my bugbears is that food sometimes isn't hot enough, but there were no complaints here. Everything was piping hot. I would definitely love to come again.
Enjoyed 6 tapas with a.pinot grigio and a pint of Brixton for £27.50. My grandson had a kids meal for £6.30 ish. We had a coffee and raspberry chocolate torte for just under £7.nThe tapas were very good, particularly the squid and chilli brisket.nAll in all, another very good Lounges restaurant with service to match
