Really enjoyed our three night stay at this lovely site. The Welcome was really friendly and the staff very efficient and helpful. The site was immaculate and the the facility block was outstanding. The team were constantly maintaining the site when not manning reception.nThe location is perfect for visiting the surrounding area.
Very friendly greeting and booking in process. Good sized pitches and superb facilities. Bus stop outside campsite entrance and easy to get to local shops and pubs.
Fantastic stay over new year. The site was lovely, clean and well looked after. Staff were lovely and really helpful. They even organised and ran an unexpected New Year’s Eve party which we were very grateful for! Would definitely stay again!
I'm leaving a review on arrival. We arrived at 7pm it was dark when we eventually worked out what to do. I was met by a woman who was aggressive and rude. She told me I should be parked on a space across the carpark. I said I couldn't see what she was pointing at she informed she could. The situation went down hill from there. I was informed I had 2 options. I am very upset it's been a long day and her aggressive unwelcoming attitude was appalling. I told her she was rude and she turned it on me. My husband had to get out and deal with the situation where he was met with her husband too. Who was accusatory as well. They have spoilt our final night. We both have disabilities and they knew this. Hopefully they don't attempt to throw us off the site for leaving this feedback. I'm locking my doors and hoping they leave us alone. Can't wait for morning so we can get out of here.
This site is immaculate. The staff are really helpful and friendly especially Danny. There's an easy 15 min walk down to Cayton Bay which is a lovely beach. I recommend a cuppa at the beach bar. Our dogs loved it on the beautiful beach. Cayton village is nice. A 5 min walk will get you to pubs convenience store and excellent chip shop. Thank you for making us so welcome. The Wood family.
